Dec. 1938
Tokoname Industrial Experiment Station financed by Tokoname Cho was established in Aza-shigayatsu, Tokoname Cho.
June 1941
The Station was transferred to Aichi Prefecture and the name was changed to Aichi Prefectural Tokoname Ceramic Experiment Station.
Oct. 1944
The name was changed to Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Experiment Station.
Oct. 1954
Mikawa Laboratory was established in Aza-okubo, Hekinan City.
Sept. 1968
Moved to Mitsuike, Tokoname city. (current location).
Nov. 1968
The name was changed to Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Research Center.
Feb. 1971
The name was changed to Aichi Prefectural Tokoname Ceramic Research Center.
Mar. 1971
Ceramic Open Experiment Station was established.
Mar. 1988
Ceramic Pipe Experiment House was established.
Apr. 1994
The name of Mikawa Laboratory was changed to Mikawa Ceramic Experiment Station.
Apr. 2002
Name changed to Tokoname Ceramic Research Center, AITEC(Aichi Industrial Technology Institute).
Jan. 2012
Name changed to Tokoname Ceramic Research Center, Aichi Center for Industry and Science Technology.
Apr. 2018
Name changed to Tokoname Ceramic Research Institute, Industrial Reserch Center ,Aichi Center for Industry and Science Technology.(Mikawa Ceramic Experiment Station is Separated. The name of Mikawa Laboratory was changed to Mikawa Ceramic Research Institute, Industrial Reserch Center, Aichi Center for Industry and Science Technology.)
